Marzipan Bakery

Marzipan Rugelach, the “world’s best tasting” rugelach, freshly baked by the famous Marzipan Bakery in Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market. The Marzipan bakery is known by Israeli’s and tourists alike. Every Friday morning many Israeli’s come to this bakery specifically to take home a bag full of pastries for Shabbat. This place has become so saught after that they opened a bakery in New York.

Cookie Cream, the concept of ice cream sandwiches with fresh baked cookies and homemade Italian chef ice cream is made daily, just for you! Liran, the owner, brought an Italian chef from Rimini, Italy, to Israel, to stay with him for 3 weeks and teach him all the secrets of the craft of ice cream making. This is a much try at the Mahane Yehuda Market, weather you are a ice cream or a cookie lover you will not be disappointed!

Etrog man –  Uzi Eli

The shop is suffused with the smells of the greens, herbs, and oils used to make the shakes and other beverages. People come in and out all day long to be diagnosed, blessed, and treated by Uzi-Eli. Many of his products are based on etrog, a citrus fruit believed by the Rambam to have special properties for a strong and healthy body and soul.

The owners of this coffee shop believe that bringing quality coffee to Israel is no less than their life mission.
